Julie began practicing yoga when her family was young, looking for a way to offset stiff muscles and to calm her pitta mind. She earned her 200 hour RYT certification in 2013 and is in pursuit of her 500 hour certification. Knowing that the benefits of yoga can't be duplicated in any other form of exercise, Julie crafts her playlists to share her love of music with movement. She realizes that often the most difficult part of the practice is getting to the studio and wants her students to experience the surprise element of realizing how good they can feel through yoga.
Expect to see me at my Mom's classes at Underground Yoga. Not only do I bring my wagging tail and calm energy to the studio, I'm happy to demonstrate how to embrace your perfect savasana.
